Video Interview with Patrick Morley
Our CEO Patrick Morley met up with Alex Taussig, Principal at Highland Capital Partners, for a video interview in early August. Highland Capital has been an investor of Bit9 for over five years now, and one of a few venture capitalist firms that fund our company. In the interview, Patrick discusses the current cyber landscape, his experience in the information technology industry, and advice for new CEOs and executives.
Patrick talks about how modern cyber threats, widely known as Advanced Persistent Threats (APT), are breaking through current security architectures and causing massive data breaches worldwide. Whether it’s the RSA attack, breaches of law enforcement agencies, or the recent Shady RAT attack, organizations are more vulnerable now than ever before and need to have additional layers of security.
